Mel rose Park Public School offers a quality education in a supportive, nurturing environment. We direct our high quality resources to the development of literacy, numeracy and the familiarity with technology. Quality urge programs and specialist staff are available to aid children experiencing difficulties in literacy and numeracy. Mel rose Park Public School is a small school providing enormous opportunities for all. A PC is a school based organization with membership unfold to parents, teachers, students and interested citizens. PC meetings involve communications and discussion of urgent local issues and activities that affect our school. The PC yield a number of activities throughout the year as both fund raising events and community activities. As well as building the robots and programming the dance moves. As we start the year we have high expectations of our students and staff and a commitment to deliver the excellent public education that parents, carers and the community rightly demand. I am proud of our achievements in public education and each year our schools provide our communities with much to. The way schools use their RAM funding will vary based on local needs. MSW public schools will have until the end of 2019 to transition to the strategy in consideration of canteen operating arrangements, product availability, rural and isolated locations and community and cultural expectations. The strategy has been informed by a comprehensive evidence report and a consultation process that included school leaders, canteen managers, health professionals, the food industry, school students and parents to comprehend the barriers and enablers for increasing healthy food and drink choices in MSW school canteens. The challenge for public education is to ensure that every student is engaged in school and successfully learning and this requires a shared responsibility of every person working in public education committed to the improvement of every child, every teacher, every leader and every school. Public Speaking All students from K6 are involved in public speaking activities where they thrive their skills in talking and listening and are provided with opportunities to offer in front of audiences. Debating is organized for students from Year 36 where they represent the school at local competitions. Sport All students experience the benefits of sport at Mel rose Park. Chess Students interested in developing their skills in chess are offered to be piece of a lunch time program. Students learn to play keyboard and enhance their skills in music. It also helps to build supportive friendships and learn urgent life skills. It is a immense time of fun, friendship and confidence building, as well as a time of growth and discovery. The kids thoroughly enjoy their time together and look forward to future each week.
